Sunrise on Pluto (click for larger image)

At more than 3.5 billion miles distant, the sun looks like a very bright star, casting stark shadows and gently "warming" the surface to -382° F.

This is my very first pic for public viewing. I have so many ideas, but I have to learn how to use the tools. This was made mostly with Terragen. It is an awesome FREE landscape generating program. If you are thinking about doing some of your own art, I strongly recommend checking it out. There is a lot of stuff on the web that people have written for it, mostly free. Check out Terrasource

In the late 19th century Astronomers noticed a peculiarity
in the orbit of Mercury. They explained this by proposing
the existence of a planet inside Mercury's orbit. They named it Vulcan.
Note: JPEG kind of butchered the sun on this. The high res version looks correct.
